School board adopts motions

A number of housekeeping matters were taken up by the Leland Board of Education this week.

The board adopted a series of motions Monday night that are traditionally scheduled as part of the first meeting of the new school year which began July 1. They are:

• Motion to authorize Superintendent Ryan T. Huppert and Business Manager Shawn Stowe to sign internal fund checks.
