As the sun rises above Alligator Hill over Big Glen Lake on early summer Sunday mornings, Jerry Pearson is at Old Settlers Park setting up for a weekly worship service.
Since 2013 Pearson has been hosting “Good News in the Park” every Sunday morning at 8:30 during the summer months, (weather permitting of course).
Pearson was serving on the Consistory at Glen Lake Church when he and John DePuy decided to set up an outdoor worship service for any and all to attend. Their leading focus continues to be the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
