To the editor:
As a mom, community volunteer, and Army veteran, I have seen firsthand how much the VFW Post means to our community. For over 70 years, it’s been more than just a building; it’s a gathering place where veterans find friendship and support, and where families have shared joyful memories attending milestone celebrations and community events. It is truly a place where the brilliant melody of this community keeps playing. Now, this cherished hub needs our help to keep thriving for generations to come.
As you may have heard, we have undertaken a major remodel with two main goals of making the entire Post fully accessible for everyone and upgrading its essential infrastructure. These improvements are vital to making the Post a safer, more comfortable, and welcoming place for all of us to enjoy.
