Traverse City Walmart stabbing suspect Bradford James Gille was arraigned Monday for injuring 11 individuals Saturday during a mass stabbing spree.

Gille plead not guilty, but first stated to the judge “I don’t want to talk to you,” when introduced.

After his defense stated not guilty, Gille spoke regarding drugs but was quickly interrupted.

When asked if he has any cash on hand, Gille responded to the judge “Not to give you.”

Gille is facing terrorism charges and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder.

Derrick Perry, a U.S Marine, took matters into his own hands and stopped the carnage when he pulled out his pistol during a mass stabbing event Saturday afternoon.

“I’m humbled by all the support I’ve received over the last 24hrs .. Honestly, I’m mostly just a dude. I’m just doing a job. This is what I signed up for, and I think that any single American citizen , would have done the exact same thing in our situation,” Perry said in a Facebook post Monday.

Treaty Fish Co. owner Cindi John of Northport was treated for injuries.

“Miigwetch (thank you) everyone for all of the love. I’m seeing it all and it’s greatly appreciated. I’ve had many people reach out and ask how they can help during this time, if you’re interested here are my platforms,” Ruby John, daughter of Cindi John said in a Facebook post.

The Johns have operated their commercial fishery since 1989. They sell fish in Peshawbestown and at Sara Hardy Farmers Market Saturday’s in Traverse City.

Munson Medical Center of Traverse City listed all 11 patients in serious or less conditions.

Two remain in serious condition while eight are in fair condition and one patient has been treated and released.

“Munson Healthcare’s team of physicians, nurses, surgeons, clinical staff, and support personnel continues to prioritize the care and recovery of those impacted by this tragic event. Their dedication and compassion reflect the strength and unity of our healthcare community during this challenging time,” Munson said in a press release. “We are also taking steps to ensure our employees have access to emotional and psychological support as they process the events of the past day.
