Support local August events; dog days of summer

I think even the dog doesn’t like the “dog days”, but we have an air conditioner, called the Lakes, Michigan and Glen.

Don’t miss the Port Oneida Fair, August 8 & 9. 10:00 until 4:00pm. See how it was in Leelanau County in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. see spinning, basket weaving, soap making, butter making and more. If possible, everyone can enjoy the Port Oneida run.

There are many summer concerts to enjoy on Wednesdays starting July 30 and into August, held at the Leelanau County Poor Farm.
