The Sleeping Bear Inn, Michigan’s oldest lodging within the National Parks System, has firmly established itself as one of Michigan’s most charming historic bed-and-breakfasts.
Reopened in 2024 after decades of silence, the inn has been excitingly welcoming guests in its second season of operation.
Under the careful stewardship of Maggie and Jeff Kato and their nonprofit, Balancing Environment and Rehabilitation (BEAR), the sand battered structure was brought back to life.
