To the editor:
For over 70 yrs, VFW Post 7731 has served as a cornerstone of our community. It”s a place where ve t e r a n s connect, memories are shared, and our community gathers. As Post Commander, it is my responsibility to keep the hall operating efficiently, and right now, our focus is on ensuring this vital legacy continues for everyone.
Our Post building needs significant upgrades. From an operational standpoint, we’re facing critical needs that impact everyone who uses the space. Our major remodel is squarely focused on essential upgrades achieving full accessibility for all, and a comprehensive overhaul of our aging electrical systems, HVAC, and kitchen facilities. These improvements aren’t about luxury, they’re about safety, long-term efficiency, and ensuring the Post can continue to reliably serve as a welcoming hub for veterans and our community without costly breakdowns or limitations.
