A new foundation that helps raise money as a last-ditch effort to help pet owners with insurmountable bills from the veterinarian is coming to the Cedar Polka Fest Foundation.
The Fisher Fund is a lastresort option used at the discretion of Leelanau County veterinary offices to provide financial support for life-extending services for pets in dire need.
