Dark Sky event set for

August 20 in Northport

Leelanau Dark Sky will give a presentation on “Limiting Light Pollution: Why? How?” with a slide show, demonstration, and conversation, on Wednesday, August 20, at 7:30 p.m.

The program, along with light refreshments, will be offered to the public at The Faerie House in Northport, 11660 N. Seven Pines Road, located about four miles north of the Village, near Woolsey Airport. The event is free, and parking is along the wide shoulders of the road near the driveway to the iconic “pink house.” Dark Sky friendly light bulbs free to first 30 people to arrive.
