National One-Design Championship Sailing Regatta will be hosted by Leland Yacht Club for the third time since 2021 in Leland on August 14-16, with competitors from all over the region.
“People love Lake Leelanau, they love coming here for the regatta, and a lot of people stay for the week,” said William “Biff” Steele, a competitor in the regatta. “They like that the lake is much bigger than many of their lakes.”
