Leelanau County Senior Services (LCSS), in partnership with Meals on Wheels (MOW), has been serving weekly congregate meals at the Suttons Bay Friendship Center since January 2024.
This collaboration has brought hot, nutritious meals to local seniors every Friday, and the opportunity for social connection and companionship.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Leelanau County had four congregate meals sites run by volunteer site coordinators through NMCAA.
