The state Court of Appeals has sided with Centerville Township and its Zoning Board of Appeals’ decision denying a special use permit for Northgate-Leelanau Pines, LLC.
Centerville Supervisor Ron Schaub met Friday with the township’s legal counsel in discuss a Court of Appeals decision upholding township planners’ rejection of Northgate’s plans to expand the former Leelanau Pines Campground.
In January 2024, 13th Circuit Court Judge Kevin Elsenheimer ruled that the appeals’ board members were correct when they upheld the Planning Commission’s rejection of the request.
