To the editor:
Last week’s annual Friends of the Suttons Bay Bingham District Library book sale was a great success. Not only did Friends members put up the tents and move the books, but members of the community showed their support for the library by donating used books over the past year and coming to the sale to buy books. Lots of books. In this age of economic uncertainty and reduced or eliminated federal funding for library support, such community support is greatly appreciated.
