This morning’s Ticker article reported that the Board “publicly reaffirmed their support” for County Administrator Jim Dyer following a four-month review, despite “accusations … that Dyer has repeatedly violated key terms of his employment contract.”
What’s missing from that headline — but is in the public record — are commissioners’ written evaluations, which contain bipartisan concerns. One commissioner wrote: “Be careful about making decisions without board direction or input.” Another remarked: “Communication with commissioners and department heads needs improvement.”
