Back to reality as end of summer nears

You would think there would be a lot of things to write about this time of year, especially with all that is happening around us.

For those interested, the Piping Plover population (say that three times fast) was up this year in spite of a few coyote raids.

It was a tough summer on the river with the tubes gone. A lot of the fun on the river was “shooting the tubes” I guess that is progress, good or bad.
