The Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department has received water sampling results from the area surrounding the Lake Leelanau DNR Boat Ramp East following the recent sewage spill.
The health department lifted the advisory Friday following a Wednesday septic leak.
E. coli levels were at Level 2 partial body contact advisory, meaning they meet Michigan EGLE safety standards for wading, fishing, and boating.
