Over the summer, Glen Lake Community Schools has had a busy construction season, as well as updates to specific policies, as students begin to walk the halls.
“We had a full boiler replacement for heating,” said Jason Misner, superintendent at Glen Lake. “It includes a complete remodel of the 200 hallway, that’s flooring, ceiling, heating, and cooling, so a complete refresh of the 200 wings in our building.”
Glen Lake’s first day is Tuesday, Sept. 2, with an 11:30 a.m. dismissal. Classes start promptly at 8:10 a.m., and late arrivals must check into the office to obtain a late pass. Lunch is free for all students. Picture day is scheduled for September 12 in the elementary school and September 13 for the secondary school.
