Successful 3rd annual golf scramble for Pointers and Creekers

Despite heavy overnight rain and a very wet course, a record number of 36 players showed up for the third annual Northport Point/Northport Creek Scramble tournament.

The tournament on August 19 involving players from Northport’s two golf clubs began in 2023 and has become a favorite event among the growing number of participants. Nine foursomes — each consisting of two Pointers and two Creekers — battled it out over nine holes at The Point’s course, with lunch afterwards.

The winning team was Lisa and Randy Randall from The Point and Doug and Monique Sanders from The Creek who shot a fabulous 7 under. Runners up were The Point’s Tom Fox and Sallie Stanley with Creek guests Harry Zoccoli and Christine Woomer.
