Folks are queuing up for Leelanau County’s own bridge walks, slated for Labor Day.
No need to travel north to traverse the Mighty Mac bridge, when there are three walks planned right here.
The oldest walk in the county, a jaunt over the Glen Lake Narrows bridge, will mark its 30th anniversary this year. Also known as the “other” bridge walk, the event is sponsored by the Empire Area Community Center.
