5:04 p.m. — Solon Township — Vehicle passed a Road Commission truck. Lost control. Rolled over.
5:32 p.m. — Empire Township — Motor vehicle crash. No injuries. No rollover. Not blocking traffic.
Thursday, Jan. 4
2:09 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Checking on a vehicle. On sobriety. One in custody.
8:57 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Structure fire. Nothing showing. Family arrived.
9:10 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is in an altercation with another party.
11:39 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Patient didn’t show up for appointment yesterday and today.
12:02 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Tan, shaggy small dogs in orchard. Running and nervous.
12:19 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Ram truck repossessed.
12:29 p.m. — Solon Township — Subject came upon an accident involving a Chevy Colorado and Chevy truck.
5:03 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Truck has been following caller for several days.
5:24 p.m. — Elmwood Township — White Jeep passing on double-yellow line and tailgating.
6:38 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Injured deer at the entrance to the subdivision. The deer walked off.
7:06 p.m. — Bingham Township — Gray Toyota truck. Male driver was intoxicated.
Friday, Jan. 5
3:05 p.m. — Bingham Township — Cadillac SUV following caller’s car. Harassment.
3:18 p.m. — Solon Township — Denali with a trailer. Hit a van that was parked along the side of the road.
6:53 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller is reporting a possible poaching of a deer.
11:53 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller reporting that her son’s father is dropping son off. He does not have permission to do so.
Saturday, Jan. 6
11:32 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Chevy Suburban on Basch Road. Roads are bad. Stuck where they are and don’t think they can continue forward on the road. Can’t turn around.
6:14 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller went off the road and hit two signs.
6:30 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Red Buick left the scene of an accident. Deputy made contact with driver who was “less than cooperative.” Information passed on to Traverse City Police Department.
8:58 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s brother has been drinking. Took her car and took out her mailbox.
Monday, Jan. 8
3:08 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Truck was going around the corner and two large boxes of corn spilled.
5:03 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Family trouble.
5:05 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Two intoxicated males walking in southbound lane of M-22.
6:29 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller was contacted by someone who said they were with Oakland County and she had warrants and needed to pay them money. Oakland said she needed to pursue a fraud complaint with her local authorities.
Tuesday, Jan. 9
4:27 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Vehicle upside down in the ditch. Unknown if there are injuries or if anyone was in the vehicle.
7:45 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports driver watching television on their phone while driving.
10:10 a.m. — Leelanau Township — 911 hangup. Sounds like someone washing dishes in the background. Picked up on call back. No emergency there. Phone issues.
11:16 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller driving boyfriend’s car. Received citations for expired registration and faulty headlight. Has fixed the headlight and needs to have that portion signed off. But, cannot drive the truck due to the registration issues. Would like an officer to come to her house in Northport.
12:01 p.m. —Solon Township — Caller was walking the rear of their property and found two sleeping bags, a backpack, a plastic bag containing various items. (Property checked. It appeared that the person or persons entered from state land. Caller notified.)
1:45 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Damage to vehicle down an embankment. Driver out of vehicle.
3:19 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Car went off the road and hit a sign.
3:29 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller is out walking her dog. She can’t get a hold of sister. Neighbors aren’t answering. Attempt to call goes unanswered.
Wednesday, Jan. 10
12:25 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller was told by a member of a fraternity at Michigan State University that they are sending a group of pledges up to Overlook 9 and asking them to climb down and them back up as part of a hazing situation. (Law enforcement checked Stocking Scenic Drive and Overlook 9. There are no tracks in the area.)
