Movement at former Empire Hardware store

A major redevelopment has been in the works down in Empire as the former hardware store, at the center of the community, could be getting another life after being closed for over two decades.

In July, the Glen Lake Community Library hosted a presentation led by Dylan Tull of Biom Design laying out a proposed mixed-use development.

Since that presentation, Tull has pulled out and a new buyer has come forward and put in an offer that has been accepted.
