Trapper Ron

Trapper Ron
Trapper Ron and his son, Ethan, caught a beaver, which he estimates weighs between 50-60 pounds, on Thursday morning. The beaver was caught off M-22 between the area of Eagle Highway and Lake Leelanau Drive. He said there's a section of the Houdek Creek that is being flooded out by beavers like this one, so they had it removed to prevent any further negative impacts on neighboring properties. Licensed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources as a wildlife nuisance animal control operator, Trapper Ron offers a range of humane animal removal and relocation services in Leelanau and surrounding counties.
