A new face will welcome Pathfinder students when they return to classes this week.

Benjamin Hebebrand is the school interim head-of-school for the 2025-26 school year. He replaces former head-of-school Jill Vigenski, who resigned to attend to family business.

The Pathfinder School, a private institution in Greilickville, was founded in 1972 by Arthur and Nancy Baxter. The K-8 school’s 22-acre campus, situated between Cedar Lake and West Grand Traverse Bay, was originally a historic estate.
