Plant now for fall/ spring color

Mum’s the word.

At least in autumn. When the garden blossoms fade, local gardeners look to mums to add color to their autumn landscape.

Mums (Chrysanthemums) are considered perennial plants in Michigan with the ability to live for more than two years, going through a period of dormancy during the winter before regrowing in the spring.
