Emma Grant and Seth Megill were joined in marriage Saturday, Aug. 16, as at St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
Emma is the daughter of Chuck and Lee Grant, and Seth is the son of Kent and Jeri Megill, all of Suttons Bay. True “Kids from the County,” the bride and groom, along with 11 members of the wedding party, grew up alongside each other attending Suttons Bay Public Schools. After attending Michigan State University and Ferris State University, respectively, Emma and Seth returned to Leelanau to build their lives in their favorite place. Emma currently works in the cherry industry, and Seth in manufacturing.
The wedding ceremony was officiated by Fr. Leonard Paul and featured choral pieces led by the St. Michael Choir, of which the bride is a regular member. The flowers adorning the church and the bridal party bouquets were grown and arranged by the mother and aunt of the groom.
