‘Apocalyptic WrestleMania’

To the editor:

I agree with sentiments expressed previously that Representative Jack Bergman needs to hold public events in his district to explain his positions on the fundamental changes that are occurring at the federal level of government. As a congressman, he represents citizens in 25 of Michigan’s 83 counties, which is a quarter of the state’s land area, in many decisions that affect national spending. There is an election coming soon, so it is important to know his opinions on such things as the costs of tariffs for governments and citizens, name change of the Department of Defense to the Department of War, National Guard deployment for conditions that are not within their mission, withholding spending for many domestic and defense purposes that was previously appropriated by Congress, and tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. Representative Bergman also champions veterans and armed services in Congress and so he should explain his view of the Apocalyptic WrestleMania that is being conducted by the current administration as a method of governing and keeping its citizens safe.
