Both Leland boys and girls cross country teams ran in the meet, with all three girls taking home a medal and five boys earning one Boyne Falls Logger Invitational.

Sophia Grinage continues her great season as the sophomore placed first for the third time this season, finishing with a 19:18 time. Junior Natalie Burpee finished third, running a 21:38, and Ellen Schwaiger finished 16th.

“These girls continue to show persistence and determination in their focus and approach to each race,” coach Ann Knudsen said. “They strive to do their best each meet, and this will pay off as the season progresses.”
