Leland’s soccer team traveled to Traverse City St. Francis Tuesday, where their efforts came up short with losing 3-2.
“We didn’t have our best game today,” coach Justin Lazar said. “We had moments, but we just didn’t have enough of them. Credit to St. Francis, they brought their best game, they played a controlled game, and that’s why they won.”
St. Francis opened the game scoring pretty quickly, not even three minutes in, and would extend that lead to two just over ten minutes later.
