Local nonprofit Leelanau Energy will to celebrate SunDay with a special event at the historic Bay Theatre on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The highlight of the afternoon will be a free screening of the inspiring film, “The Light Won’t Dim,” followed by an engaging group discussion.
In recognition of SunDay, a national Day of Action, Leelanau Energy, a nonprofit organization, presents an accessible and uplifting event focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy. The short documentary movie, “The Light Won’t Dim,” is a thought-provoking film that explores how communities can champion sustainability and harness the power of the sun.
