Following sold-out performances in 2024, two popular holiday concerts are returning to the Bay Theatre this year— including Duke Ellington’s “Nutcracker” performed by the Interlochen Arts Academy Jazz Orchestra and the Bay’s annual Holiday Magic concert featuring David Chown, Miriam Pico, Dominic Fortuna, and Laurie Sears.
As part of the Interlochen in Town series, the Interlochen Arts Academy Jazz Orchestra will present two performances of Duke Ellington’s “Nutcracker” on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1 and 4:30 pm at the Bay. Get into the swing of the season and enjoy an afternoon of playful takes on your favorite songs from Tchaikovsky’s beloved holiday ballet — as reimagined by The Duke himself. This show quickly sold out two performances in 2024, so advance ticket purchases are highly recommended.
Tickets are $15 and on sale now. Doors open for each performance one hour before showtime.
