The local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will offer free flight to youth age 8 to 17 Saturday at the William B. Bolton Airport in Empire Township.
EAA launched a “Young Eagles” program in 1992, dedicated to giving youth ages 8 to 17 their first free ride in an airplane.
It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.
