Lakers dominate Gladiators

Last week, the Glen Lake Tennis Team hosted Traverse City Saint Francis and routed them 8-1.

It was Glen Lake’s first dual match victory against the perennial power in a decade.

Glen Lake dominated the singles matches with Hawthorn Sutherland, Porter Martin, Ludo Polic and Eliott MacTavish all winning convincingly. Glen Lake also won four out of five doubles matches. The most dominant victories came at fourth and fifth doubles where both teams of Levi Lamb/Luke Selby and Oz Schut and Aiden Doher did not allow Saint Francis to win a game. Glen Lake is the favorite to repeat as regional champion in two weeks.
