Leland girls golf new faces

Leland girls golf new faces
Leland sophomore Lucy Baldwin hits a smooth shot during a dual match against TC St. Francis. The Comets are golfing with zero seniors this year and a plethora of underclassmen.

The Leland Girls Golf team has had a successful season for the amount of experience they brought back from last year.

“I had several girls return to the team which has been fabulous,” Coach Grace Keeble said. “We have four juniors, two sophomores, four freshmen, so we’re a young team but they’re doing great.”

With the lack of experience, many have goals of breaking the 100 mark through 18 holes.
