Walk into Dick’s Pour House in Lake Leelanau on a Wednesday afternoon and you might end up singing along with a few talented musicians having a jam session.
“The Dix” as they used to be called gather in a room right off the restaurant’s entrance to sing and play favorite songs in an open jam session from 2 to 4 p.m. every Wednesday.
The jam sessions were started years ago by two friends Jim Niessink and John Rutherford.
