Bahle’s Annex closing

Bahle’s Annex in Suttons Bay is closing down after 40 years of selling clothes in Suttons Bay.

“The customers have made it extremely fun. There’s so many interesting people, and you get to know them, and you run into them, at different events in Leelanau County. You make a lot of new friends. But they’re traditionally people from downstate, the first thing they do when they come up to open the cottage, they come in here, and they talk and say hi,” Annex manager Shari Rosinski said.

The Annex is expected to close by the end of October, but depending on inventory, sales will continue through the first week of November.
