Wednesday, Sept. 24

9:22 a.m. — Centerville Township — Pole is smoldering near garage. Cherryland has crew headed that way.

Thursday, Sept. 25

7:34 a.m. — Kasson Township — Tan horse has burrs in its fur and tail. Caller thinks it should be checked. (Deputy spoke to the owner. Will check on his horse.)

8:02 a.m. — Bingham Township — Subaru passed cars. Near head-on collision.

11:04 a.m. — Kasson Township — Dark gray, GMC Sierra, traveling eastbound all over the lines.

1:17 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Ongoing problem dogs (multiple) are allowed to roam into Amore Road.

9:19 p.m. — Bingham Township — Gray SUV swerving all over, varying speeds and passing cars.

Friday, Sept. 26

10:04 a.m. — Elmwood Township — White trailer has been at MDOT- maintained park for two years. (MDOT has jurisdiction over the site. Landowner will need to call to advise them of the issue.)

10:22 a.m. — Elmwood Township — White Ford all over the roadway. Passing on double yellow. Going toward Traverse City.

Noon — Centerville Township — Cows on caller’s property.

12:21 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Subject in custody for domestic violence.

2:30 p.m. — Solon Township — Very upset customer in her car having difficulty backing up the vehicle has come back into the business. Silver Chevy SUV. Caller wasn’t sure the driver was good to drive.

3:22 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller is concerned for a horse just north of this address. The hair is very matted and has a lot of plant debris and the horse is overrun with flies. Caller states the horse is in a run down barn all by itself.

3:57 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller is heading south from Northport. Remained behind vehicle for some time giving updates. Vehicle was “all over the roadway” throughout the call. No plate on vehicle. Dog in back seat. Elderly male, possibly a Chevy Malibu. (Subject arrested for operating while intoxicated.)

4:37 p.m. — Solon Township — Green Buick ran red light. High rate of speed. Westbound on M-72.

10:47 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is being evicted. (Has been advised of his options.)

Saturday, Sept. 27

8:39 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Nissan Sentra appears to have been at beach overnight. (Contact was made with registered owner inside the car. Advised him he is not allowed to camp at the site.)

11:55 a.m. — Centerville Township — Caller is stating her husband is causing a ruckus. He is there, now, attempting to remove property and clothing. (Male half of the couple has left.)

1:13 p.m. — Kasson Township — Electric wheelchair for daughter went off the driveway, about three feet off an embankment and is now stuck in some bushes and it is tilted so the wheels can’t get any traction. Caller is unable to lift the chair out of the bushes. Daughter is not injured but is getting scratched by the bushes.

4:58 p.m. — Leland Township — Neighbor dispute. Caller would like to discuss with an officer over the phone.

9:14 p.m. — Kasson Township — Brown horse running in the road. Caller just missed hitting it.

9:49 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Report of a fight at the gas station.

Sunday, Sept. 28

12:16 a.m. — Bingham Township — White Lexus. Sobriety tests conducted. Subject arrested for operating while intoxicated.

2:05 p.m. — Solon Township — Person is encroaching on the door and harassing customers.

3:48 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller is locked out of house. Caller is insistent that he does not want fire response. He asks that response be canceled. Dispatch called locksmith. (Locksmith responded to the location.)

3:53 p.m. — Empire Township — AAA contacted dispatch stating a member was needing assistance being “wenched” out from the side of the road. Vehicle is stuck on a stump.

6:26 p.m.— Suttons Bay Township — White Cadillac Escalade passing at stop sign. “Intoxicated” driver. Vehicle believed to be going west from Lake Leelanau on M-204 toward Leland.

6:57 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller reports a gray vehicle supposedly working for Spectrum. They are driving into driveways of vacant homes and caller thinks it’s suspicious.

6:58 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller reports people were walking across her property even though she has multiple “no trespassing” signs posted. They got in caller’s face when she confronted them and they had a verbal argument. They have since left.

8:34 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is reporting “they” are trying to take over the property and “they “ are trying to run him over. Reporting multiple vehicles.

Monday, Sept. 29

8:25 a.m. — Empire Township — Back and forth neighbor issue about music the caller plays. Caller wants it logged in case it becomes an issue.

1:54 p.m. — Kasson Township — Illegally dumped mattress and chair.

3:10 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Dark blue super duty truck all over the road.

3:46 p.m. —Suttons Bay Township — Golden-doodle charged at caller’s child.

10:04 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Co-worker has been harassing caller for a couple months.
