In reply to Mr. Raftshol’s 25 September missive, I concur that the political loser respects the effects of the election, 6 January notwithstanding. Elections so have consequences; this we are experiencing.
Is Mr. Raftshol referring to puerile displays such as 1955 The Birmingham Bus Boycott, the March 1965 walk across the Edmund Pettis Bridge, the 1960 Greensboro Sit In or, perhaps, the 6 January Capitol attack which was, I argue, quite a public fit of temper?
