Same orders, different source. That is the latest result of Michigan Supreme Court rulings handed down Friday that stripped Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of authority to continue issuing unilateral executive orders. On Monday many of the same restrictions placed by Whitmer on Michiganders in an effort to control spread of the coronavirus were back in place through orders issued by a department director in her administration. *** Wireless internet service in Leelanau County could improve substantially in the coming year. Next week, the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners will consider a potential contract with a downstate company that hopes to install new equipment on county-owned telecommunications
towers.
