Consumers Energy will be making upgrades to deliver electricity more reliably, performing maintenance work on high voltage distribution lines in the Glen Lake area.
The overnight work will temporarily interrupt electricity to about 2,400 homes and businesses from 11 p.m., Wednesday Oct. 15, until as late as 7 the following morning.
It’s part of Consumers Energy’s Reliability Roadmap, an effort to reduce the number and length of power outages statewide.
