Library to host author

The Glen Lake Library will host author and environmentalist Stephanie Mills on Wednesday, October 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.

She’ll lead a participatory workshop to depict your knowledge of and raise questions about the nature of your home territory. Using Peter Berg’s classic workbook, Mills will facilitate graphic descriptions and revelations of our whereabouts.

Space for the workshop is limited, so please contact the library to register in advance. Now semir etired, Stephanie is the author of seven books, including “In Service of the Wild and Epicurean Simplicity.” Over her 50 years in the ecology movement, she has taught, organized, and lectured around the U.S. and abroad. She has lived in Leelanau County since 1984.
