The Federal shutdown story was an opinion piece, not news-a reprint of Jack Bergman’s highly partisan newsletter without mention of Democrats’ concerns about rising health costs. Hyperpartisanship solves no problems.
Working people struggle to make a living; many voted for Trump. They have reasons to be angry. One is that the “Great Recession” saw irresponsible banks and brokers bailed out while nearly 10 million households lost their homes. Wealth concentrated in the hands of the few.
