Glen Lake football will host a 'Cancer Night' football game against Grayling Friday 7 p.m. to honor all those in the community that have been impacted by cancer, with a special recognition for Cathy Kangas, a Glen Lake teacher who passed away earlier this month after a battle with cancer.
“She has touched countless lives,” Glen Lake Superintendent Jason Misner said during a board meeting Monday. “We will remember her for all that she was.”
Kangas had a 30 year teaching career at Benzie and Glen Lake.
