Leland (10-22-1) and Lake Leelanau St. Mary (2-19-3) battled on the volleyball court Tuesday that resulted in a 3-1 Comet victory on senior night.
The Eagles nearly won the first set 24-26 that was quickly followed by an impressive set two win from the Comets, 25-16.
Leland got out to a 17-12 lead in set three that was led by a furious comeback by the Eagles to go up 23-20. The Comets wouldn’t fold as they took the set 25-23, along with the fourth and final set 25-14.
