The Leland and Glen Lake boys soccer teams will meet after advancing through the semifinal round Monday to set up a grudge match between the Lakers and Comets yesterday as of press time, hosted by Suttons Bay.

In game one of a thrilling double-header, Glen Lake (17-31) defeated McBain Northern Michigan Christian 3-2 off a late Ollie O’Neal goal that completed the hat trick for the Laker junior.

“I feel like the team played pretty good,” O’Neal said. “I feel the team came out strong, fast and we didn’t lose our minds when we started to get scored on.”
