Skateboarding dogs, swallowing swords, and plenty of sunshine were all present at the Lake Leelanau Street Fair Saturday. The Lake Leelanau Street Fair has moved its event over the years from August to September and, this year, to October, resulting in an impressive crowd and record vendor participation.
“This feels like a good time to have it,” co-chairperson Patrice Korson said.
Foot traffic isn’t reported, but the event was “busy all day” as locals and visitors cycled in and out.
