The pattern of Administrator Jim Dyer’s reported outbursts at the County Government Center is serious — and what’s even more troubling is how it’s being handled.

Two employees have filed complaints against Mr. Dyer, alleging verbal assault, threats, and retaliation. Instead of addressing those accusations or showing concern for the people affected, four commissioners and local papers have focused their outrage on leaks and critics — not on the behavior itself.
