Parties react to survey results

Everyone seems to agree that the workplace survey results delivered to commissioners last week painted an unflattering picture of county government.

But county Clerk Michelle Crocker may have gotten the worst of it. The newspaper reached out for reactions to the results from Crocker and other elected officials.

According to the nine-page document presented to the board Wednesday, the clerk’s office is “vindictive/dishonest — Crocker and Zywicki “put their nose in everything,” note how they talk to people (is) mean-spirited.”
