The Glen Lake Community Library is hosting two special events next month.
The library will host a screening of the documentary film “Saving the Barn: the Leelanau County Poor Farm,” on Thursday, No. 6 at 7 p.m.
Produced by the Leelanau County Historic Preservation Society, the film tells the fascinating history of the county “Poor Farm”, located near Maple City, and the dedicated effort to preserve the property’s iconic barn.
