The Northport Public School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is set to host a cooking club event on Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. Parents and student attendees will learn to make pasta and a variety of lasagnas, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Instruction will be led by chef Laura Cavendish, Northport School Food Director Emily Miller, and talented assistants. All cooking supplies and ingredients will be provided. Free to attend for all Northport School families. Community members are also welcome with a donation of $10-20 per person. The event will be held at Northport Public School, 104 S. Wing Street, Northport.
