6:16 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller was driving and a light in the ditch caught her attention. Not sure what is was. Did not feel safe stopping.
12:45 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject was walking her dog and person, with their dog, was nearby and lunged at the caller while telling obscenities at her.
4:45 p.m. — Leland Township — Leaves burning with no one around-yelled for someone but no one came. Near transformer line. Big pile of leaves.
Wednesday, Oct. 29
7:41 a.m. — Kasson Township — Caller has an individual on tether who was supposed to turn self into Grand Traverse County Jail last night but didn’t. Request Leelanau County deputy to attempt to pick up.
8:17 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Unknown vehicle in driveway. Dark sedan. (Per deputy, it was a painter who was just at the wrong house.)
10:01 a.m. — Centerville Township — Every morning, north to Duck Lake Corner, a truck tailgates when the caller turns onto M-205. Truck continues to go north on 22. Caller would like extra patrols.
3:23 p.m. — Empire Township — Driver operating without a license.
6:44 p.m. — Leland Township — Arson.
Thursday, Oct. 30
1:55 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Miscellaneous juvenile activity.
2:21 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller reports staff interaction with someone with threatening behavior on Monday, Oct. 27.
4:06 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Truck parted in caller’s driveway. Back in. Caller can’t see anyone inside.
4:16 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Driver in event above has returned and spoke with caller. He was surveying some trees and then vehicle is gone. No need for police response.
5:18 p.m. — Leland Township — Black lab wandering the neighborhood near caller’s address.
5:50 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller received a text from neighbor stating that his front door was open. (Residence was secured by law enforcement.)
10:51 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Family trouble.
Friday, Oct. 31
2:02 p.m. — Leland Township— There is a northbound red, SUV driving erratically. Ran through stop sign. Stuck his whole body our of the vehicle to yell at other motorist.
3:19 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township— Someone came down the hill and struck her van, which was pushed into caller’s garage door.
3:46 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Retail fraud just occurred. Couple in store. 5:37 p.m. — Leland Township— Caller heard a bow hunter hit a deer on the edge of her property. The deer was on her property. No one has permission to hunt there.
Saturday, Nov. 1
5:37 a.m. — Leland Township— Small SUV, possibly a crossover, racing up and down the drive. Sounded like it spun out. Now it’s just sitting at the end of the drive revving its engine. Law enforcement out with the vehicle. Driver arrested for operating while intoxicated.
11:54 a.m. — Elmwood Township— Small, blue Chevy weaving in an out, tailgating, high speeds, passing on doubleyellow.
2:50 p.m. — Bingham Township — Silver Ford F-150 driving slowly, all over the roadway. Caller feels they are likely impaired.
8:05 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township— Caller believes his gun was stolen out of his vehicle.
Monday, Nov. 3
8:52 a.m. — Centerville Township— Kids are lock in the vehicle. Self-arranged a tow. Will be there in 20 minutes.
9:57 a.m. — Empire Township — Caller arrived at construction site. Tools were locked up and now the door is open and a key was moved. Unknown if anything else was taken.
12:51 p.m. —Empire Township— Caller hasn’t heard from sister since 9:30 a.m. She was supposed to be home around noon. Caller is concerned because she heard there had been an anonymous threat against her sister. Husband is not concerned yet as the timeframe when wife would return was vague. She does often go for long walks. He would be more concerned if it was later. (Caller called back to say that sister is home. But she’d still like to speak with law enforcement.)
5:52 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township— Grandson not home from basketball practice. Law enforcement spoke with coach. Student is at his basketball game in Frankfort. The children’s grandmother called him and stated the child is home.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
2:33 p.m. — Bingham Township — Five chickens in caller’s yard for about three weeks eating cracked corn he puts out for wildlife. He doesn’t know where they belong. No one in the subdivision has a coop.
7:20 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller reports what looks like a picnic basket that was left on some bags of apples. Multiple people have brought it to caller’s attention and they would like it checked out.
7:34 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is a mechanic and had a vehicle in for service. The customer came and took the vehicle from the caller’s garage without paying a week ago. Caller also had mechanic tools taken.
